Be a Volunteer Driver!

They come from many walks of life, retirees, stay-at-home mothers, stay-at-home dads, grandmothers and grandfathers, but they share a common sense of purpose for the children and youth who need their help.

They are the drivers for the Children's Aid Society of Owen Sound and the County of Grey. Volunteers transport children to court-ordered supervised visits, medical and other appointments, summer camp, recreational programs, and special education programs.

All volunteers are subject to a variety of checks and screenings, including clearance by the Ministry of Transportation. As well, the agency provides training in first aid, CPR, and care seat safety for volunteer drivers.
